Pray

We covet your prayers. These trips include both physical and spiritual challenges. Please pray that God will go before us and protect our teams from every danger in Uganda and all along the way.

Another vital prayer need is for wisdom as we continue to develop and refine programs. We want to provide the support that is most needed, not just what we think will help. To do that requires incredible wisdom, and hearts to not just listen but to really hear.

Finally, please pray for the pastors, school directors, head teachers, and other staff who are serving these precious children. They are on the frontlines of ministry in Uganda, facing tremendous challenges every day. If nothing else, our prayers help cultivate our own hearts to recognize and appreciate the blessings we enjoy, which are so abundant.

Give

This is our most ambitious trip yet. In addition to our annual refresher training, we are hosting a construction workshop (building a church) as a way to help teens who are not attending high school gain valuable, marketable skills. We will also be hosting a kids camp and a youth sports camp for those too young to participate in the workshop.

Day to day: 

• Make washable feminine hygiene products. You can use this pattern, one from Pinterest, or design one all your own. It doesn’t matter; anything will help! Girls who make it to secondary school in Uganda can’t attend school without feminine products, and washable pads are much more sustainable than disposable pads. Your help can literally change lives!!
